There are only six (6) Student Job Titles that appear in Banner.

- Student Advanced Level
- Student Technical Specialist
- Student Monthly (only used for Resident Advisors, ASUNM President and Vice-President, and Daily Lobo Editor)

- Exclude the word “Student.” You can sort requisitions by Employment Area so there is no need to specify that it is student position.
- Maximum of three words per title
- Please do not list more than one title. Choose the main job title and include the additional duties in the job description. (Example: instead of Office Assistant/Marketing Assistant/Accounting Assistant, you can choose Office Assistant and list the marketing and accounting duties in the Summary)
- Exclude the following from the working Job Title
- Department (UNM), Program Name, or Organization Name (off-campus work study)
- Season (summer, fall, etc.)
- The word “Level”; use I, II, etc. If there is only one (1) level, do not use I, II, etc.
- The following titles cannot be used for Student Employment positions:
- Research Assistant
- Teaching Assistant
- Graduate Assistant
- Project Assistant
Some options: Faculty Assistant or Program Assistant
